These yellow potions are actually thought to be some sort of cleaner used by Demons to maintain their weapons. To Sorcerors, however, they have a far less mundane use.
When consumed, the Potion of Power energizes the Sorceror's mind, allowing him to completely ignore the strain caused by spellcasting. During this period of unlimited mana, he can often fling enough spells to defeat an entire horde.
