Amplify is a metamagic spell designed to increase a Sorceror's Willforce. The echoes it creates within the caster's mind, though intense and painful, multiply the strength of any attack spells he casts. The effect lasts until it has boosted a certain number of spells.
The Amplify spell was created to combat the larger and more powerful Demons becoming more and more commonplace. It is of little use against lower Demons, all of whom are weak enough to be dispatched by even a single Magic Arrow.
