Enchanted objects can be disabled or destroyed by means of the Disrupt spell. It works in an instant, affecting all such objects in the area. Large objects are shut down for a time, while smaller items are decomposed into soul energy that can be collected for other uses.
The Disrupt spell is the bane of artificers everywhere, and is the primary reason magic shops require their patrons to check all Spell Foci at the door. Most other Sorcerors, however, greatly appreciate the Disrupt spell as a way to counter an enemy's well-laid plans.
