The Lure spell summons a special Spirit to the Sorceror's location. The caster names his target (nearby Demons, usually) and the Spirit takes the form of an object they find tempting. In this way, the Sorceror can provide a temporary distraction while he escapes or prepares another spell.
The spell also doubles as a sort of personality test for humans, thrown in order to determine what thing a subject desires most. Much speculation has been offered as to what exactly the Demons' Lure is (an unknown creature of some kind), but no one has yet discovered its identity or why the Demons find it so irresistible.
