Smite, or Phoenix Blast, is a risky spell often looked upon as a last resort. It transforms the caster's force shield into a weapon, causing it to erupt in a torrent of raw power. All nearby creatures are scorched. Few can survive.
The drawback of the spell is that the Sorceror's shield is drained in the process, leaving him potentially defenseless against any enemies that remain. However, a skilled caster can, by proper timing, mitigate this danger.
