By altering the elemental density of the caster's boots, the Water Walk spell grants him the ability to stand on the surface of pools, lakes, and the like. The spell has a fixed duration. If the Sorceror is still on the water when the effect expires, he is automatically (and forcefully) pushed to dry land.
Water Walk can also be cast on the Map View to move over water areas.
The spell only functions on calm bodies of water. Attempts to develop a Water Walk that can withstand rough seas or high winds have resulted in a great many soaked "volunteer test subjects" (Apprentices, mostly).
